Michael Kaminsky

Michael Kaminsky is a research scientist at Intel Research Pittsburgh.
Michael joined Intel in Summer 2004 after completing his graduate work
in Computer Science at MIT where he worked with Frans Kaashoek in the
Parallel and Distributed Operating Systems (PDOS) group. He received his
B.S. in EECS from the University of California, Berkeley in Spring 1998.

Michael is generally interested in computer science systems research,
including distributed systems, networking, operating systems and
network/systems security. His graduate work largely involved
cross-realm user authentication in a secure, decentralized network
filesystem called SFS. He presently splits his time among several
projects: Reliable Email (Re:), Data-Oriented Transfer (DOT), and a new
project on wireless/edge networking.
