Dina Papagiannaki

Dina Papagiannaki is a researcher at Intel Research Pittsburgh working in the area of wired and wireless networking. From 2000 until 2004 she was a member of the IP research group at the Sprint Advanced Technology labs in Burlingame California. Prior to joining the Pittsburgh lab, Dina spent 3 years at Intel Research in Cambridge, UK. She has authored more than 30 conference and journal papers in premier networking events, and has participated in the technical program committee of the most prestigious conferences in her field. Dina received her PhD degree from the Computer Science department of University College London in 2003. Her PhD dissertation was awarded the Distinguished Dissertations award 2003. Her current focus is on self-organizing wireless access networks (SWAN), and edge host anomaly detection (PROTEUS).
