Michael Kozuch

Michael Kozuch is a Principal Research Scientist for Intel Corporation. Kozuch joined Intel in 1997, after earning his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Princeton University. Initially he worked in Intel’s Microprocessor Research Labs in Portland, OR, where he contributed to the development of SoftSDV (a full- system simulator for PC-compatible machines), Intel's trusted execution technology, and Intel's virtualization technology. In 2001, Kozuch moved to Intel Research in Pittsburgh, PA but continued his work on virtualization as the Principal Investigator for the Internet Suspend/Resume project, which provided a new paradigm of network-enabled mobility. Recently, he has been serving as a Principal Investigator for the Log-Based Architectures project, which is focused on developing architectural support for online software correctness-checking.
