
Ling Huang is a Research Scientist at the Intel Research lab in Berkeley. He received his Ph.D. (2007) in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Before coming to Berkeley, he worked as a software engineer and project manager at Bei Hang Haire Software Co. Ltd (CAXA), the No.1 CAD/CAM software company in China, from 1996-2000. Ling’s research interests lie in the area of networked systems, computer security and machine learning. His current projects include resource-constrained reasoning; distributed machine learning and signal processing; continuous online network traffic monitoring and anomaly detection; distributed triggering system; efficient learning and inference on compressively sensed data.
