
Richard Gass is a research engineer at Intel Research Pittsburgh. Before joining Intel in 2004, Richard worked at Sprint Advanced Technology Laboratories where he built the analysis and monitoring infrastructure for the IPMON project. Prior to coming to Pittsburgh, Richard spent 3 years at the Intel lablet in Cambridge UK where he worked on multiple projects focusing on networking monitoring and opportunistic communication. Currently Richard is working on the Interactive Search-Assisted Decision Support (ISADS) project. Richard holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University and is currently a PhD candidate at University Pierre and Marie Curie in Paris.
