Eric S. Gayles joined Intel in 1996 and is currently the Director of the External Programs Group in Intel Research. His previous Intel positions include Southbridge Chipset Circuit Design Project Manager, CPU circuit design manager, I/O Circuit Manager, and Low Power Circuits Research lead.  

Eric earned a B.S. degree in computer science from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (1992). He did his graduate work at Pennsylvania State University earning a PhD in 1996.
